Anonymous writes "Please join us for the 25th Annual Distinguished Lecture Series featuring the 7th H. Bolton Seed Memorial Lecture by Robert V. Whitman on Friday, May 4, 2007. We are using this occasion to make this event a joint UCB and ASCE event that will be the Bay Area's Geo-Engineering profession's premier event each year.

There will be special lectures, research posters, and an awards banquet. Advance registration (by April 18) is required for the banquet and requested for the lectures. On-line registration is available at:

The lecture program will held at Sibley Auditorium in the Bechtel Building on the Berkeley Campus of the University of California. The lecture program will begin at 1:10PM. The lecture program will be followed by an awards banquet in the lobby of the adjacent Hearst Mining Building, which will begin at 7:00PM.
